SimplBooks has integrations with online stores (WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Shopify) (0)
Our new year started vigorously: SimplBooks now offers integrations with Shopify, PrestaShop and WooCommerce (WordPress) online store platforms. This means that it is now possible to import the orders from online stores directly to the SimplBooks. However, these are semi-automatic integrations, which means that online orders will not automatically appear in the SimplBooks. The SimplBooks users will have to press the import button. The users can import the orders to SimplBook at any time convenient to them, for example, every morning, noon and night.
For the orders to appear in SimplBooks, the users must make an import from the online store in the list of sales invoices. This applies to all three online stores. And to activate all integrations, they must insert the online store’s public address, API key and API password. All the necessary inputs are in the online store’s REST API settings. Once the integration has been successfully activated, it will appear in the list of sales invoices under “import” as an additional option for importing orders from this online store.
The PrestaShop interface requires a PrestaShop version starting from 1.7. The WooCommerce interface requires a WordPress version starting from 4.4 and WooCommerce plugin version starting from 3.5. WooCommerce is a so-called third party or an external integration, and they can impose additional fees. However, if you want to have a full automatic interface between WooCommerce and SimplBooks, you can use the integrations provided by third parties (detailed info can be found in the last paragraph of the API guide).
